Question:
Does anyone know how to make the rv awning lights that are
made from using plastic flower pots. You drill holes into
the plastic flower pots and turn them upside down, putting
see-through beads into the drilled holes. A light is put
into the top of the flower pot and it becomes a lantern that
when lit, makes very pretty colors because of the beads that
are placed into the drilled holes. A man with an rv had
make a string of lights using this method and hung them on
the awning of his rv - really pretty and unique!! Does
anyone know of a web site or directions on exactly how to
make these lights- really would like to make some for our
rv.

I have made these lights. There are several different ways to make them.
My way is not the easiest but will hold up much better than other ways I
have seen them done.
If you are interested in my method, email me and I will forward the
directions to you. Of course, if you want the simple way, I can tell you
how to do that too, but will not guarantee the beads staying in the pot.
