Question:
So you'd
have a truck with
a tent camper in the bed pulling a tent camper. Between the two you'd
have allot of space and storage for long range trips and cold weather,
but I'd be concerned some campgrounds would forbid this as it would be
considered 2 units, especialy if the truck could seperate from the
camper as in the case a fourwheel model. It's a shame that these kind
of rules allow for 35 foot condos on wheels, but won't let me have two
tiny ultra lite units.
Answer:
-Last year I was in Fredericksburg and a pick up, with a Lance camper
in the bed, pulled in towing a large Argosy trailer. A "squarestream"
as we call them.
I was so amazed I took photos.
Met the couple, showed them mine and they showed me theirs. They are
RNs and fulltimers and travel doing health care work. Their passion is
rock climbing so they leave the trailer sometimes and head out in the
wilds where they climb.... using the Lance camper as their "weekend
home".
They did not have to pay twice.
I imagine they simply explain that they will only be using the trailer
when in campgrounds.
-Technically I'm not sure if I am a camper or an RV user. I have a
laptop and a battery powered guitar amp. I even have used a fan for hot
weather, but I don't have an AC unit, I don't have a big screen TV,
could care less about any baseball or football team as sports is not
really about watching TV (I surf which means my heart rate will
actually increase a bit while engaged in sport), and I was upset when
the state got rid of all the non electric sites and charged more money
to camp at salisbury beach.
