Question:
With the price of gas and all, I have been thinking of a combination
4 cyclinder truck with ultr light truck camper or something like a
flip-pac
or maybe a more expensive four wheel camper (500 pounds). This combined
with
an ultra light tent camper like something a motor cycle pulls. So you'd
have a truck with
a tent camper in the bed pulling a tent camper. Between the two you'd
have allot of space and storage for long range trips and cold weather,
but I'd be concerned some campgrounds would forbid this as it would be
considered 2 units, especialy if the truck could seperate from the
camper as in the case a fourwheel model. It's a shame that these kind
of rules allow for 35 foot condos on wheels, but won't let me have two
tiny ultra lite units.

If what you need is a lot of space and storage, maybe your small truck
with it's in-bed tent camper should be combined with a small cargo
trailer. Uhaul has 4x6 box trailers and tiny little aerodynamic "sport
trailers"... I'm sure it's possible to buy similar trailers outside of
Uhaul (who probably only rents them).

I'm not sure I'm familiar with the "four wheel camper" as you describe.
