Question:
I was hoping to keep it, but now it really does need to go. Long story
involving a back pay dispute with my wifes work, that would have enabled us
to keep it.....
Any interest here before I bung it on Ebay?

Great unit. I can deliver it to anywhere in Qld, if there's a few cartons of
4x at the end of the trip, and a few dollars towards the diesel.
Answer:
No worries. Plenty of interest on Ebay, and a few keen punters from ads
around the local shops, too. It should sell.
Just for your info, with my TD, the economy difference doesn't seem to be
that bad. Yeah, it's not aerodynamic, but for quite a few grand less than a
van, or a camper trailer, that's a lot of diesel, before it becomes a
problem.
There's so much more to the bottom line of running costs than fuel economy.
I'm amazed that people transplant $8K engines into their 4wds to get better
fuel economy. Even converting a petrol to LPG needs sensible costing.
My rig, is ready to go, and half price of a camper trailer.
$4k you don't spend on a aerodynamic rig, pays for a lot of diesel.
Anyway, I'm confident one of the local Townsville punters will snap it up,
but I thought I'd call you on the "brick" thing.
It's a common question posted on 4wd forums. What you pay every time you
fill up, is only half of the equation.
