Question:
Looking for a Jeep Tent, fits on a cherokee, when the hatch is open it
extends off the back of the jeep so you can sleep in the back and put your
stuff on the ground (in the tent). I'm sure i've seen one in a jeep
magazine, but i can't seem to find it anywhere anymore. Any ideas where i
can find one, if they still make it? It kinda looks like the one they make
for the Pontiac Aztec.

I've slept in the back of a YJ (back seat in) more than a few nights...i
don't think there's a tent in the world that would fit back there thats long
enough to keep your legs from cramping up....its just not a big vehicle
my 2 suggestions:
1)just get a tarp and a regular small dome tent that packs up nice and
tight and has a good rain fly;
2) (most important, if you want a good night's sleep) set up the tent and
cover the jeep BEFORE you open that 1st beer around the campfire. it always
seems to get darker and harder to set up the tent as the night
progresses...especially if you're doing it right.
