Question:
We are planning to visit Ottawa in April during spring break and would like
to use our camper. I have found a couple places on the internet that are
open during the time we will be there but wold like to know if anyone knows
of any other good places open in April?
The only one that really appears like a good place is east of Hull. We
prefer to be in Ontario. The one just south of Ottawa appears rather bland
and really looks like a trailer park instead of a camp ground. Other than
those two, the next nearest ones found on the internet are around Thousand
Islands - too far..

Kind of an early time yet in April for camping as far as any parks go,but
you might try some "private" parks the website to search then out is
www.campgrounds.org
I'm not sure if any provincial parks are open just then but look at them at
www.ontariopaeks.com
