Help with Reese 350 and Palomino Camper

Question:
I bought the Filly in May and we have used it several times. However, I have only towed on country roads within a 50 mile radius, and never towed over 60 mph. I am about to tow for over 1000 miles on interstate and I'm worried about sway. I have contacted Palomino and Reese about installing the 350 and neither had any information for me. Has anyone else installed the 350 on a Palomino camper. Is there any concerns on the "C" channel construction of the Palomino or any other campers?

Answer:
-WE HAVE A 1999 TXL-FL PALOMINO AND WE HAVE TRAVERLED WITH IT WITH JUST A REG RESSE HITCH AND HAVE BEEN FINE VERY LITTLE SWAY DROVE DOWN ROAD GREAT BUT I THINK THE FILLY IS SMALLER THAN THE MUSTANG TXL- WEHAVE THE HARD SIDES.. HOPE THIS HELPS

-WE have a palomino Mustang FL. On of the largest avaivable except no slide out. We have a regular hitch on our truck with a reese 4 place bike rack. We have never had sway. WE did have some bounce until my husband installed some type of air bags but now that is not even a problem. The farthest we have traveled is 3 hours but it was all highway at about 70MPH.

-We have a 99 Palomino Yearling RL and use a regular class 3 hitch, and have had no sway problems.I don't go over 65 when I am towing. My Palomino owners manual also says that the use of a weight distribution hitch will void the warranty. So you might want to check into that before you buy the 350.
