Question:
I'm searching for an Atlanta area source of a simple shell to put on a
1990 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The truck accessory shops don't stock
anything to fit a truck older than 1993-1994, so they said (I called).
Pawn shops were suggested as a source, called them and none have a camper
shell, either.
Could some informed, kind soul direct me to a source, retail or private
sale? I'm not picky about color, style or material. My requirements are
that it be in good condition (new or used) and fit a 1990 Ford Ranger
pickup.
NOTE: A "bed cap" or "tonneau cover", the flat-&-level-with-the-top-of-
cargo-bed thing is not what I need. Gotta haul my dog and other tall
things back there.

-If you don't mind driving down to Griffin to get one, call the local
program between 1230 and 1 PM. call "swap buy and sell at area
770-412-9443 monday through Friday, and between 1230 and 1 PM. on
saturdays. Bet someone down here would have one.
-Wherever you go, just make sure you stay away from
Celebrity Truck Tops on Bankhead highway in Austell. I went
there for a top for my truck a few years ago, and the woman
that owns the place is a complete ASS. Her goon employee
broke my parking brake cable, screwed up my battery cables,
then she wanted to argue with me that it was this way when I
bought it in. She's a real wise ass. I can see why she is a
divorcee. Oh yeah, the top never did fit right. I suspect an
improper installation. After some legal haggling, I got money
from her, but not much. I put the bill on my VISA, then protested
the charge.
