Question:
Just got a 18 ft Prowler camper but I need some replacement cushions and
other misc. interior stuff like dome light lenses, covers, etc. Anyone know
if RV stores have or can get these things or do I have to make the cushions
from scratch ? Any suggestions where to look ?
Answer:
-Camping World or an independent RV dealer with a decent accessories store
should be able to do it. Sometimes we order from the factory, sometimes from
the secondary market...and then again, sometimes we use a local upholstery
shop that has given us very competitive pricing and good quality.
-The local camping store we got our MH from carries the dome light covers
on a regular basis (they special order if you need an older mount type.
They also have someone who will redo the cushions in a variety of color
choices.
Since I sew, I'm making the new covers for the cushions in our new 1978
Titan . The JC whitney caralog also carries a good bit of camper stuff.
I found Camper World prices to be a little high through the catalog
