My husband and I are discussing the possible advantages of flying our family
from Ohio to the West (Grand Canyon and west), then renting a camper there.
Maybe even an RV (can't remember Class...the kind where you are driving the
camper). Does anyone know if there are travel agencies or RV dealers in the
West that specialize in this? Thanks.

They have some attractive rates after school is back in seesion, if that is
an option for you.
The units I have seen are all relatively new, and well maintained. I think
they sell them off after a year or two.
-You can also try RV USA www.rvusa.com and look under "Rentals". They have
them broken down by state. One problem you may run into with renting a
"pull-behind" type camper is renting a vehicle to tow with. Most car rental
agencies specifically state no towing.
