Need help with 20005 Rockwood Premier Camper

Question:
We have been campers for some years now.Last June we bought a 2005 Rockwood Premier. It was from a not so good dealer, allot of things were not explained and parted on not so good terms. Now I have a camper with problems and I know nothing about it and the paper work doesn't really help. I'm looking for someone who may answer some questions for me or may know someone who could. I put the camper up last weekend to get it ready for spring. When I plugged it in there is a loud noise coming from under the pop-up sink, something is caged there. There is a on/ off switch next to the box with fuses,if I turn it off the noise goes away. Also all the plug ins work but none of the overhead lights will work and when I crank up the fan it won't come on. These are the major problems but I do have a lot of questions. I contacted the dealer,no help, they got there money and they are done with us. I would be grateful for any help.

Answer: It is either a water pump or electric power converter cooling fan. If your camper does NOT have a water system (with pump), it is the converter. Question: Also all the plug ins work but none of the overhead lights will work and when I crank up the fan it won't come on.

Answer: Check the fuses. It sounds like the power converter is ailing. Question: I contacted the dealer,no help,

Answer: What do you mean by "no help"? Since you purchased a (presumably) NEW camper last June, it is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Did the dealer refuse to look at the camper? Did they say they would charge you for the service? If they are still reluctant to provide after-the-sale service, contact Forest River and discuss your issues - including the lousy dealership - with them. http://www.forestriverinc.com I was unable to find a [contact us] link on their site. There should be contact information in the packet of papers and manuals that you SHOULD HAVE received when you bought the camper.
