Question:
We know nothing about travel trailers having had a pop-up for several years.
We're now looking to buy a 21' travel trailer (ultra lite) and have seen a
Rockwood 21' T2108 (2600 pounds) that looks interesting - to us.
Can anyone give us some info about what to look for in a travel trailer and
what are the ones we definitely
shouldn't buy?
Also, we're towing with a 1996 Chevy Lumina minivan V-6 3.4 litres. Any
advice?
Answer:
-I own a 2000 Rockwood 2104. We love it!!
This past weekend we took our 11th trip in it. Never had a problem with
anything yet. If I had to do it over again I'd get the 25ft.
Although they are called ultra-lite I DONT recommend pulling one with the
Lumina minivan.
-Just bought the 2505 Rockwood - 98 -- love it - tows well, set up is
easy, winterizing (for the first time with this unit) was a snap -
took less than an hour. Glad I bought this unit
