Question:
I've seen slide-outs on truck campers, but I was just surfing the web
and found these folks with a slide-down camper. Its quite imaginative
(IMHO), but I think it will fail in the marketplace:

Has anyone actually seen one of these things?
Answer:
-I checked the webpage, and think that is the most clever new design
I've seen in quite a while. Why do you think it will fail in the
marketplace? Is there something inherently wrong with the design that I
didn't catch? The only think I could see that might be a concern is putting
about 500+ lbs in a relatively unsupported area of the camper. In other
words, I'd hate to "unweight" the back end, then have the family go to bed
up front!
-Is getting into the slide down like climbing into a bathtub? If not,
how do they handle a pass-through and how do they keep the
pass-through sealed when the camper is on the truck? I would like to
see one myself. It is an interesting design.
