Question:
New to the NG, and just returned from a weekend in RI with the family. We
have a Ford Taurus with a car topper, and we were very cramped. I'm thinking
about adding a utility trailer to our equipment list. Probably a 4x8, and only
towing a few hundred pounds for camping ( I'll also use it locally for trips to
Home Depot, etc). Anybody have experience with this set up? Tranny coolers,
etc?
Also, I'd appreciate any recommendations on a multi-room tent for a family of
4.

Can't say about the tent but used a grear trailer for years behind
everything from a VW Rabbit, Chevette, nissan pickup, ford Tempo. The
4x8 kit from HomeDepot should work fine. I used a larger (heavier)
one and a smaller version. The isues are to pack vibration sensitive
things in car trunk (ie. lantern and cooler) with not sensitive
(clothing, tent, etc) in trailer. Also watch weight and balance.
