Question:
Looking for any input/experience on Viking pop-up campers. The decision
is between Viking, Rockwood, Coleman.
Answer:
-I have been actively looking for a pop-up camper and for the life can't
figure out the difference. They all seem to be made well the difference
seems to be in the layout and options. I looked at several Vikings and
thought there layout was good and they had all the features I wanted. I
looked at a 1995 that had some slight (cosmetic) damage to the roof it was
only $2500. The dealer guaranteed the roof. On the other hand I looked
at a 1987 Coleman pop-up and the owner wanted $3500 and the coleman came
with an icebox no heater or canopy.
I think I will go with the viking!
-We've had our Viking for about 10 years and it's still in mint condition.
I love the layout in ours with the long goucho (spelling?). Sleeps 8. I
guess I'd like a newer pop-up but why bother? This camper has been good
to us.
